Old Plough Inn

The old inn had a lower roof line, smaller windows with the lower wall built using rubble similar to that used in Manor House wall though the left-hand lower wall may be brick. The present building still has the double gabled front with front door location as seen above. The hitching rails no longer exist.

At one time a coal wharf existed at the river edge and evidence of archaeological remains is known to be under the garden.
